Chartered in 1996, the Adams Chapter of TU includes nearly 300 men and women lucky enough to live and fish in this beautiful part of the Northwest Lower Peninsula of Michigan. We're right next to the Boardman, Manistee, Pine, Pere Marquette, Rapid and AuSable Rivers. Most of the time we're fly fishing for trout, though we have steelhead, salmon and even carp fanatics. We endorse catch and release but it's rumored that some have enjoyed the rare shoreside lunch. It's a large, diverse, relaxed group with everyone in agreement on one thing: It's all about preserving our coldwater resources. Go ahead, explore, learn more about us.
The Adams Chapter wishes to thank everyone who donated to and attended the 2009 Annual Fundraising Banquet. The banquet was successfully held on the evening of April 18th at the Williamsburg Dinner Theatre. That evening our chapter raised almost $13,000, enough money to fund all of our local charitable grant activity for 2009. With your help, the Adams Chapter has been able to contribute nearly $200,000 over the years in support of youth educational projects, river restoration efforts, and build valuable habitat in our local stream and rivers. We need and appreciate the continued support of individuals and business underwriters to help us achieve of goals.
